KPEC supply traditional V groove pulleys suitable for normal applications for use with the following belt types: (spz) (z) (spb) (b) (spa) (a) & (c) Section belts. Pulleys can be supplied with a taper lock bush to lock on to a shaft or the pulley can be bored out to suit the customer's shaft size and a keyway machined in to the pulley so as to allow locking of the pulley on to the shaft. Pulleys supplied are balanced to ISO.

Timing belt pulleys for the original timing drive are still available.
Belts & pulleys for light or 3/8th pitch and h heavy or ½ pitch drives are available.
Timing pulleys are mostly taper lock bushes for shaft fixing.

Taper lock bushes are designed to give the following:
> Perfect assembly:
> Rapid dismantling of the pulley and other transmission products
> No special tool requirements except hexagonal key

Taper lock range of finished bore sizes ensure an immediate assembly can be made thus avoiding costly factory down time. The bushes are machined with keyways in accordance with uni and din specifications. This is in addition to clamping screws which in many cases are sufficient to meet the requested torque.
